So far so good.
I have eaten more, but that is not a big deal to me, because I did keep to my promise of exercising. Friday, even though it was raining heavily and continuously I went to the gym and was rather proud of it. ^^
I started the couch to 5k program and succeeded in completing the first 2 exercises. The next one will be monday, together with my regular warming up and muscle-training. Right now I am 84 kilo's or nearly 170 lb. I expect it to go down a bit because I'm doing cardiovascular exercise and muscle-training.
Cardio will grant a relatively high boost in using my energy for that day and muscle-training will increase a relative longterm boost to use up more of my energy, because the muscles have to recover and grow larger.
Right now I will focus a bit more on university, before posting again, but I will continue my training and I will set more goals for next time and it will be posted right here.

Change of plans!
Hello and good evening. ^.^
In all honesty, I failed 2 of the 30-day trials and that's what I'm going to talk about in this blog post.
At first I cracked when I had 3 cans of soda left and took one, because I had a very long and tiresome day. Of course this is not an excuse, this is just my reason and I should take it into consideration for the next time.
The second fail was with the junk-food. I did eat less junk-food, but because I started exercising I had a huge appetite all of a sudden.
To improve my 30-day trials I should not start them simultaneously if they might overlap. I did not try to eat less, but eating healthy is very hard if you try to do it all at once. Thus I'm going to start a new trial alongside the exercises.
My plan is as follows:
Exercise Monday, Wednesday and Friday. This means that I start tomorrow again with an entire body exercise and cardiovascular training.
My exercises will at least consist of 4 programs, which I will work out in detail later. These 4 programs are my goals for the next weeks.
be able to do 100 push ups, 200 squats, 200 sit-ups (crunches) and The Couch-to-5K ® Running Plan from Coolrunning.com
This is the start of my new plan and in my view a better way to lose weight. My goal is to have a total of 15% body fat, but I do not know my current percentage of fat, so I will measure it tomorrow to have a clear view of my weight and body fat, so I can adjust my goal if necessary.
As a final note, I want to say something I find very important. Even though I did not succeed, this does not mean I'm giving up. Never be afraid of a challenge and never let fear dominate your life. If you want something, admit it and go for it.
Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear.

The 30 day trial
It's two days into the trial. So far it's going pretty well. I didn't stop drinking the soda, but I'm drinking next to nothing. I drank 1 can yesterday and 2 today, so in comparison to before. That's a big improvement!
An overview of my amount of junkfood and soda:
Everyday about 10 cans or a few cans and a 1.5 litre bottle.
About 1 or 2 bags of chips every day.
So this is very standard for me to eat a big amount of junkfood and such. Besides that I've been to the gym and working out. It has upped my food-intake, but considering I'm keeping it healthier, nuts and fruits instead of junkfood.
To keep this in check and not ruin the entire project. It's now called the 30 day project. xD I'm scribbling it down on my whiteboard for every week. So I can cross off a day every time I succeed. This way I have a clear overview of how long I have to go and it makes it easy for me to remind myself of my goal.
Tomorrow I will exercise again and I will keep this blog updated!

The start of my journey.
My goal with this blog is to help people achieve their goals as well as my own.
Today is the first day of me living positively and consciously. I will describe my goals and why they have been chosen.
First goal: -Complete the first year of university.
Second goal: -30 days without soda / sweetened beverages / alcohol.
Third goal: -Exercise 3 times a week for the next 30 days.
Fourth goal: -30 days without candy.
The reason why these goals have been chosen are not in order of importance, but mostly with how compatible they are with eachother. I only need to do a little more for my first year of university, but it is very important to me, besides that.
The other 3 goals will help me achieve that, because at the end of the 30 days I should feel healthier.
Personally, I am very interested to see what will happen. I've chosen the 30 day trial system, thanks to Steve Pavlina, whose blog I enjoy reading. 30 days is long enough to get used to something, but short enough to keep a goal in sight.
This is the end of my first blog. I choose to live a healthier lifestyle.
